The COO – Global SCM, Procurement & Logistics serves as a member of the International Executive Management Team and reports directly to the CEO.
Operating from ***'s global headquarters in Schengen, Luxembourg, the COO is responsible for the global steering, strategic development, and operational excellence of the entire supply chain organization — including procurement, production, distribution logistics, transport networks, warehousing, and international subsidiary supply operations.
The primary objective is to ensure an efficient, scalable, and resilient global value chain that sustainably supports the company's growth, quality standards, and long-term success.

Core Responsibilities and Key Areas
Strategic Leadership
• Develop and implement the global SCM and logistics strategy in close alignment with the CEO.
• Establish and manage an integrated global SCM governance model (Headquarters → Continental Units → Country Organizations).
• Ensure company-wide material and supply chain availability in line with ***'s growth strategy.
Supply Chain Management
• Supervise and continuously optimize all Plan, Source, Make, Deliver processes.
• Implement and monitor KPI-driven performance management (e.g., forecast accuracy, inventory turnover, cost-to-serve).
• Drive digitalization, transparency, and automation throughout the supply chain.
• Oversee risk, capacity, and supplier management to ensure supply chain resilience.
Procurement
• Strategically advance the global procurement and sourcing function.
• Build long-term supplier partnerships and ensure consistent quality assurance processes.
• Harmonize contractual and pricing frameworks across all regions.
• Initiate cost optimization, sustainability, and innovation projects.
Logistics & Distribution
• Oversee global warehousing, transportation, and distribution networks.
• Manage regional logistics centers and 3PL (third-party logistics) partners.
• Ensure an efficient and scalable logistics system that supports business growth.
• Provide logistical feasibility assessments to support international expansion and market entry strategies.

• Directly lead the global SCM, Procurement, and Logistics teams, as well as functionally oversee regional SCM Heads (Europe, Americas, Asia-Pacific).
• Collaborate closely with Finance, IT, HR, Quality Management, and Regulatory Affairs.
• Foster a performance-driven, collaborative, and values-based corporate culture.

Candidate Profile
Category Requirements
Education Degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering, or equivalent; MBA preferred.
Experience 10–15 years of senior leadership experience in an international environment (consumer goods, manufacturing, pharma, or related industries) with responsibility for global supply chains.
Expertise In-depth knowledge of SCM controlling, ERP systems, lean management, demand planning, procurement strategy, and logistics processes.
Analytical Skills Strong data- and KPI-driven decision-making; expertise in scenario planning and risk management.
Strategic Competence Proven ability to build global organizational structures, manage change, and integrate new markets and systems.
Leadership Skills Strong international leadership, cross-cultural communication, and talent development capabilities.
Languages Fluent in English; German and additional languages are an advantage.
Personality Entrepreneurial mindset, assertive and decisive, hands-on mentality, with a global and strategic outlook.
