Your area of work:
The Asset Servicing Product Development team is responsible for the definition and development of all products
and services related to the Asset Servicing product and service delivery to our customers across all Clearstream
business lines. This includes the response to regulatory requirements (e.g. CSDR, SRDII), to corporate events
standards and to emerging market trends (e.g., digitization, AI use cases, ISO 20022 rollout, etc.). In addition, the
Asset Servicing Product Development team is in intensive contact with clients, public authorities, market
associations, as well as various DBAG internal departments to capture and leverage change information to secure
appropriate maintenance and evolution of the Asset Servicing Cluster in general.
Your responsibilities:
You demonstrate expertise in end-to-end Asset Servicing flows, from event origination through to payment and
reconciliation. You understand the needs and interests of all stakeholders (e.g., clients, regulators, standard-
setting bodies, etc.). You conduct thoughtful and detailed business analyses to inform decision-making. You
represent Clearstream in industry forums and trade associations to shape public opinion and influence market
developments (market advocacy). You support product design and project management by:
Engaging with clients and designing new services to meet clients' needs
Developing an in-depth expertise about CSD regulations, standards, internal systems and roles &
responsibilities
Maintaining an active role in developing solutions to improve service efficiency
Specifying system developments/enhancements that meet clients' requirements and CSD regulations
Collaborating with stakeholders to design technical solutions with functional analysts and IT developers
Working with Operations to design efficient processing flows with minimal manual intervention
Drafting excellent business/system requirements during the development phase
Overseeing the implementation & commercialization of new services, including market readiness, roll-out,
marketing & documentation
Your profile:
You have a proven track record (min 7y) in a similar role
You combine good knowledge of the post-trade industry with a strong expertise in Asset Servicing-related
topics across multiple event types and asset classes. Some experience with Financial Market Infrastructures
would be an advantage
You have strong analytical skills and you can switch from a high-level view to focus on the details
You can perform detailed and thoughtful business analyses, leveraging large data sets from various
sources
You can work in an international environment and work closely and effectively with multiple teams in parallel
(Ops, IT, functions, client-facing teams, etc.)
You have good social skills, the ability to cope with stress and to communicate and to present well orally
and in writing
You are autonomous and you like teamwork with the aim to meet clients' expectations
You are fluent in English. Capabilities of French and/or German is an asset
You are familiar with the MS-office software suite
