Eltrona, the historic Luxembourgish cable TV provider, is, after a full takeover by the Belgian cable Co Telenet, a wholly owned Liberty Global subsidiary, on a turnaround journey.

Eltrona, operates a hybrid fibre – coax network that can provide more than 80 % of the Luxembourgish households and enterprises with very high-speed broadband. It is the company’s mission to evolve to the reference alternative Internet provider, doubling market share in mid-term, and transforming to become a highly performant telecom operation.


In this context we are looking for a driven B2C Director to lead our Commercial teams, and to transform the Commercial activity to become a high performant multi-channel commercial engine, with the focus on in and outbound telesales, commercial and customer experience growth.

The B2C Director is part of the Eltrona Leadership team.


  • Your key responsibilities

You will be the heart of Eltrona's B2C team, leading and growing the people, strategy and execution, and you will play a key role in the further transformation of our commercial activities, our commercial performance and the associated customer experience.


Your key responsibilities include:

1) Ensure the day-to-day management of the Sales department and teams

  • Steer people, plans and processes to ensure optimal performance
  • Coach and grow the sales teams (shop and telesales)
  • Develop and grow telesales maturity and result
  • Assume responsibility for the commercial results
  • Oversee commercial investments (sales acquisition costs, remunerations)
  • Manage commercial planning and timelines, as well as commercial strategy
  • Manage and grow commercial journeys and associated customer experience


2) Ensure transformation of the commercial activities

  • Think, build and run plan to transform and scale commercial activities
  • Develop a top performing commercial engine fuelling further commercial growth
  • Develop commercial excellence program and multi-channel strategy
  • Accompany teams, business and company in the transformation process
  •  Anticipate and plan for medium- and long-term top and bottom-line results
  • Grow collaboration with all customer-facing teams to maximize results
  • Grow commercial teams’ skillsets and attitude to fit the next level growth
  • Grow ability to pilot data and process driven business

You are a driven and enthusiast Commercial people and transformation leader, thriving in a high-paced environment where ownership and collaboration are essential values, and have an outspoken drive to achieve results.


Your main competencies include:

  • Hands-on leader who can thrive in a small company setup
  • Leader accustomed to turnaround contexts (bringing vision, structure and engagement)
  • Excellence in steering teams and operations (sales organisations)
  •  Ability to transform, federate teams around a common goal and thrive in complex settings
  • Familiarity to work as part of a Leadership team and represent the company
  • Experience with Telco (or service) commercial and onboarding processes is a must
  •  Proven success in turnaround projects, and in creating people and business growth
  • Outspoken drive for achieving results and performance
  • Ability to unite, create meaning, and gain team buy-in on cross-functional projects
  •  Excellent communication skills
  • Rigor and organizational skills, particularly for budget and project management
  • Ability to be relevant in both small and large organizations
  • Stress-resistant and able to thrive in a fast-changing environment
  •  Fluency in French and English, both spoken and written, any other language is an asset
