Who we are looking for

This position is within the Private Equity/Real Estate Business Unit of the State Street Alternative Investment Solutions Group in Luxembourg. The position interacts with all levels of professionals both internally and externally. Therefore, exceptional interpersonal and communication skills are required. Candidates must demonstrate initiative, be able to perform well under pressure and simultaneously handle multiple assignments. The position is responsible for maintaining direct client relationships and managing the day-to-day onboarding and administration for multiple client sponsored investment funds in the Luxembourg market.

What you will be responsible for

As Fund Accounting Officer you will:

• Manage the onboarding of new structures and work with different departments and the client to ensure operational readiness of the services elected for each entity
• Assist the client with any onboarding matters, introducing project management support when required
• Manage priorities and internal workflows to ensure client deadlines are met. Oversee coordination of the deliverables, both with clients and internally
• Contribute to positive collaborative working culture within the fund administration team, promoting our values
• Maintain trackers & MIS reporting for Onboarding and client deliverables
• Coordinate and manage client change requests as required
• Review and/or prepare various client related correspondence
• Review and develop understanding of investment fund legal documents, including understanding of the AML/KYC process
• Support the Sales process by liaising with the Operational teams to collect the FTEs
• Participate in special client or internal projects as required, coordinating change activities with Subject Matter expert while liaising with the client

Education & Preferred Qualifications

• Candidates must have a college degree (accounting, business, mathematics, finance or economics degree required)
• 5 or more years of previous onboarding experience
• Experience in the private equity or real estate industry is a plus, but not required
• Familiarity with the Luxembourg regulatory environment is highly desirable
• Sound computer skills are required, especially Microsoft Office, particularly MS Excel and Power Point
• Fluency in English. Any other language skills will be considered as an advantage
