The Faculty of Humanities, Education and Social Sciences (FHSE) at the University of Luxembourg brings together expertise from the humanities, linguistics, cognitive sciences, social and educational sciences.
People from across 20 disciplines are working within the Faculty. Along with the disciplinary approach a very ambitious interdisciplinary research culture has been developed. The faculty's research and teaching focuses on social, economic, political and educational issues with the common goal of contributing to an inclusive, open and resourceful society.
This position is part of the Climate Nexus Framework Convention signed between the Ministry of the Environment, Climate and Biodiversity and the University of Luxembourg. This five-year initiative (2025-2030) aims to make Luxembourg climate-ready by integrating research, education, policy, and public engagement to address climate change, biodiversity loss, and socio-economic challenges.
Your role
The doctoral researcher will contribute to the Social Readiness pillar, which promotes citizen science, sustainable lifestyles, and youth engagement. The role will focus on evaluating existing environmental participatory processes and contributing to the co-development and continuity of the Klima Biergerrot, in line with the coalition agreement (2023-2028).

General information:
The yearly gross salary for every Doctoral researcher at the UL is EUR 43445 (full time).
