Polymer Process Engineer (m/f)

Description des tâches:

Voltcore is a Luxembourg deep-tech startup developing conductive polymer heating textiles for automotive and apparel markets (Audi, BMW, Forvia).

As Polymer Process Engineer you will own conductive compound and monofilament extrusion development:

• develop CNT/carbon-black compounded PP and PET formulations;
• run twin-screw compounding and optimise dispersion;
• extrude ~250 μm monofilaments with controlled electrical resistivity;
• characterise materials via rheology (MFI), TGA and DSC;
• build and apply percolation/conductivity models;
• manage material suppliers (e.g. OCSiAl, Orion);
• write SOPs and maintain a compound/filament database;
• troubleshoot production issues.

Profile:

• MSc or PhD in Polymer, Materials or Chemical Engineering with 3–6 years' relevant experience;
• hands-on twin-screw compounding and monofilament extrusion;
• solid grasp of conductive-filler systems and polymer characterisation.
• Working language English; French an asset.
• Valid driving licence (travel to partner labs in BE/FR/DE).
