We are partnering with a well-established and growing Luxembourg-based AIFM operating in an international alternative investment environment.
Reporting directly to the Conducting Officer in charge of Compliance and AML, you will play a central role in overseeing and strengthening the AML/CFT framework of the AIFM and its funds.

You will act as a key contact for AML matters, working closely with internal stakeholders across Europe as well as with delegated service providers and regulatory authorities.
This is a high-visibility position offering autonomy, exposure to senior management and strategic involvement in governance processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Act as RC for the Funds and/or the AIFM (depending on experience).
• Serve as the primary contact for investor AML/CFT matters, ensuring proper oversight of onboarding and ongoing monitoring performed by delegated service providers.
• Oversee portfolio-level AML/KYT matters in line with CSSF Circular 18/698.
• Conduct AML/KYC due diligence on transaction counterparties, business partners and UBOs.
• Ensure daily name screening and batch checks are performed in a timely manner.
• Manage RBE filings and ensure regulatory deadlines are met.
• Perform periodic and ad hoc AML/KYC reviews as part of ongoing monitoring.
• Oversee the delegated Transfer Agent function, including due diligence reviews, KPI monitoring and coordination with service providers.
• Monitor regulatory developments and perform gap analyses to ensure continuous compliance.
• Support senior management and board-level governance processes, including preparation for regulatory interactions and audits.
• Maintain and update AML/KYC data in compliance systems.
• Deliver AML/KYC training to internal stakeholders.

Profile:

Professional Skills:

Strong knowledge of the Luxembourg alternative investment regulatory framework, including AML/CFT and delegation oversight.
Experience interacting with Luxembourg authorities (CSSF, AED).
Ability to review and assess KYC documentation and make informed AML decisions.
Experience overseeing delegated service providers.
Solid understanding of screening processes and transaction monitoring.

Fluency in English is required.

Experience & Education:

Master's degree (Bac +4/5) in Law, Finance, Compliance or related field.
6–8 years of relevant experience gained in Luxembourg within a Big 4, law firm, financial institution or AIFM environment.
Ideally with RC experience or ready-to-deploy status.
Demonstrated ability to operate in a regulated environment and engage effectively with senior stakeholders.
