Deux coproductions luxembourgeoises nommées aux Oscars

Le Grand-Duché sera présent avec deux coproductions "made in Luxembourg": "Wolfwalkers" de Tomm Moore et Ross Stewart (Melusine Productions), nommé dans la catégorie meilleur film d'animation.

Deux nominations pour "Collective" d'Alexandre Nanau, réalisé par Samsa Film entre autres: meilleur documentaire et meilleur film international. Ce film avait déjà été récompensé aux European Awards dans la catégorie meilleur documentaire, il a également été primé en novembre dernier lors du LuxFilmFest.

La production signée Netflix "Mank" part favorite dans la course aux statuettes avec en tout dix nominations. La pandémie a totalement bouleversé le calendrier des studios qui ont reporté la sortie de nombreuses grosses productions prévues en 2020, laissant le champ libre à des œuvres très variées pour cette édition des Oscars.
